Made from high-carbon White #2 steel (Shirogami #2) and finished in a distinctive kurouchi (黒打ち) style, the blade delivers razor-sharp performance, excellent edge retention, and smooth sharpening. The Bunka’s signature k-tip (reverse tanto) profile provides outstanding control for precision cuts—especially useful in vegetable prep, herb mincing, and fine detail work.
